This 1976 publication is hard to find. It’s in good condition but the pages are yellowing. This nifty little book provides a wealth of hard to come by information on how to plan, organize, prepare for and take a wilderness vacation on horseback. There is a nice section on the National Parks and which ones offer what. Given the age of the book, I would recommend double checking that. The sections on choosing and packing food, camp cooking, first aid, caring for your animals, etc. are as valid today as there were forty years ago.
