There are numerous illustrations comparing good and bad conformation features, legs, body, dental. There is much discussion on breeding, foaling, foal handling and training of horses as they grow.
There are many illustrations, both drawings and photographs. All in all, a very informative book as applicable today as it was when it published. It is in very good condition with no apparent damage, tears or notes written in it.
